Your query is converted to a 1,536-dimension embedding with OpenAI's text-embedding-3-small, then matched against pre-embedded clauses from every ingested wording using pgvector cosine similarity. Cache hits are unmetered; live embeds are rate-limited to 50 free-text searches per IP per day.

Results show insurer · product · section path · verbatim clause text · similarity score · link to the source PDF. SHA-256 fingerprints of each PDF are recorded in our snapshot so any clause is traceable to a specific wording version.
